TTC Implements New Route Numbers for Subway

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has started its trial run of using numbers and colours for its subway lines, effective Monday Match 3rd, 2014.

The new numbers and colours are meant to make the subway lines easier to understand.  The new numbers and colours are:

The Yonge-University-Spadina Line becomes ‘Line 1’ with yellow numbering, The Bloor-Danforth Line becomes ‘Line 2’ with the green numbering, the Scarborough Rapid Transit becomes ‘Line 3’ with blue numbering, and the Sheppard Line becomes ‘Line 4’ with purple numbering.

The TTC would like your feedback, and you can provide feedback by visiting ttc.ca or e-mail wayfinding@ttc.ca to provide feedback.
