Civic Holiday Service Adjustments

Monday August 4th, 2014 is Sir John Graves Simcoe Day in Toronto.  As such, many transit agencies have modified their service for the day.

Modified service to transit affects the following agencies:

Barrie Transit – hourly service from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Burlington Transit – holiday service levels (hourly bus service)

Durham Regional Transit – holiday service levels on most route, no service to Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge.
GO Transit – operating on a Saturday service.
Grand River Transit – Sunday service level.
Guelph Transit – no service, due to ongoing labour issues.
Hamilton Street Railway – Sunday service.
Milton Transit – no service.
Mississauga Transit (MiWay) – Sunday service.
Niagara Falls Transit – Sunday service.
Niagara-on-the-Lake Transit – no service.
Oakville Transit – Sunday service.
Orangeville Transit – no service.
Peterborough Transit – no service.
St. Catharines Transit – holiday service (modified Sunday service.)
Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) – Holiday/Sunday service.
York Region Transit – Sunday service.

As usual, please check with your transit system to make sure you have the correct running times.
