The TTC has announced that it will be shutting down part of the Yonge Line, between Eglinton and Bloor stations, on October 18th and 19th, 2014.

The disruption is so that the TTC could do work on the tracks and switches around Davisville station.  At the same time, the TTC will also be upgrading signals along this portion of the line.

While the shutdown occurs, shuttle buses will operate between Eglinton and Bloor stations.  Wheel-trans buses will also be available to assist passengers with mobility devices.

Subways will continue to operate between Finch and Eglinton, and between Bloor and Downsview.

Regular subway service will resume Monday morning, October 19th, 2014.
