Subway Closure Affects Yonge Line

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) will be closing down part of the Yonge Line between Eglinton and Bloor stations on November 8th and 9th, 2014.

This is part of the TTC’s work on upgrading their signal system and to perform track work.  This is the third, and last, of a service of weekend closures affecting this part of the line.

Shuttle buses will be operating between Eglinton and Bloor stations, and regular subway service will operate between Eglinton and Finch stations, and south of Bloor, and continuing up the University-Spadina Line to Downsview.

As an alternative to the shuttle buses, passengers can take the St. Clair streetcar west to St. Clair West station and use the University-Spadina line.

Normal service will return Monday morning, November 10th.
