The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced that it will shut down part of its Bloor-Danforth Line between St. George and Pape stations on December 6th and 7th, 2014.  The closure is to allow the City of Toronto to perform maintenance work on the Prince Edward Viaduct.

Trains on the Bloor-Danforth Line will continue to operate along the west end of the line (between Kipling and St. George), and along the east end of the line (Pape to Kennedy.)

The TTC will operate frequent bus service between St. George and Pape stations.  Wheel-trans buses will also operate along this section of the line to assist passengers with mobility issues.

Buses will serve St. George and Pape via the fare paid terminals, but will stop on street for the other stops.

With the exceptions of Bay, Sherbourne and Chester stations, the other stations will remain open during the closure.

The TTC plans to have full service along the Bloor-Danforth Line ready for Monday morning, December 8th, 2014.

Please check the TTC’s website for updated information.
