Partial Closure Affecting the Spadina Line

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced that it will be closing part of the Spadina Line this weekend, March 21st and March 22nd, 2015.  The closure affects the Spadina Line between St. Georges station and Lawrence West station.

The work will take place on the weekend, with the line scheduled to re-open by 9 a.m. on Monday (March, 23rd, 2015.)

The closure is to allow the TTC to replace 850 metres (2,790 feet) of track between Dupont and St. Clair West stations.

During the closure, buses will replace the subway between St. Georges and Lawrence West stations.  Wheel-trans vehicles will also be available.

With the exceptions of Dupont and Glencairn stations, the stations along the affected section will remain open for the purchase of tickets, etc.
