GO Transit has announced that it is reducing service along the Lakeshore West line on Saturday June 20th, 2015.  Instead of 30 minute service, trains will only operate every hour.

GO buses will still operate on their regular service, as does the Lakeshore East line.  However, passengers travelling westbound may have to wait up to 30 minutes at Union Station as only every other GO train will continue west of Union Station.

The closure is to allow GO Transit to do track work between Port Credit and Long Branch GO stations, including levelling tracks, replacing ties, and replacing gravel and stone.

Normal service resumes Sunday morning, June 21st, 2015.
