Transit Adjustments in Preparation for Winter Weather

Metrolinx, the provincial operator of GO Transit and the Union-Pearson Express (UPX), has announced that it is adjusting service for the morning of March 2nd, 2016.  With an expected 10-15 cm of snow overnight, service levels during the rush hour may be impacted.

As such, Metrolinx has announced the following:

  • UPX will operate every 30 minutes in the morning.
  • Most express trains along the Lakeshore East line and Lakeshore West line will running locally to allow for some cancelled trains.
  • the 7:53 a.m. westbound train from Oshawa which will make all stops until Pickering, before running express to Union
  • Stations will remain open until after the last train departed, both for the evening of March 1st, and on March 2nd.
