GO Transit has announced that there will be less train service along the Lakeshore East GO line over the weekend of July 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, 2016.

The main impact will affect service on Saturday July 23rd, and Sunday July 24th.  Starting in the evening of July 22nd, until the end of service on Sunday July 24th, service will be operated hourly instead of every 30 minutes.

Trains will depart Union Station at 13 minutes past the hour, starting with the 6:43 p.m. train on Friday evening.  Trains will depart Oshawa at 8 minutes past the hour, starting with the 8:08 p.m. departure.

The reduction in service is to allow GO Transit to continue work on the Guildwood station.
