The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced that it is shutting down subway service on the Yonge Line between Lawrence and Finch stations this weekend, October 22nd and 23rd, 2016.

The shutdown is to allow the TTC to do maintenance work on the tracks.

During the closure, the TTC will be providing shuttle bus service between Lawrence and Finch stations, with Wheel-Trans buses operating from Eglinton to Finch.  Not all shuttle buses may be Presto-equipped, so passengers need to be prepared to use cash, tickets, and tokens, or use a paper transfer.

Passengers also have the option of travelling westbound along Finch Street, Sheppard Avenue, or Lawrence Avenue to the Spadina Line.
