The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced that it is closing the entire Sheppard Line (‘Line 4’) on March 4th and 5th 2017 in order to provide time for maintenance work.

During the closure, the TTC will be providing shuttle bus service along Sheppard Ave. between Yonge and Don Mills station.  The shuttle buses will only stop at the subway stations.  Those wishing to go to and from other points along the line should travel along the 85 Sheppard East bus line.

Regular service returns at 6 a.m. on Monday March 6th, 2017.  According to the TTC, the work accomplished during the closure is the equivalent of five weeks of overnight work performed during the normal hours that the subway does not operate.
